Here's a few pro tips on asking a question that I'll answer. This is important going into 2021, because I really don't have much time on my hands, so I'm not going to spend a lot of time deciphering stuff. So catch my attention.
- Please be detailed. If I don't know what you're talking about, I'll likely ignore you. Doesn't mean I don't want to help. I do, but I have to know what you're after. I fucking LOVE well thought out questions that make me think.
- Don't ask the helper alt upstairs. Really. The helper alt is brain damaged and spells everything M O O N. Not much help, that guy. I rarely check the messages there, and all the messages are spelled M O O N.
- Don't expect me to visit you and do it all for you. I wouldn't even if I had all the time in the world. Unless you're hot. If you're hot, I'll make an exception. 😄
- Don't think I'm going to respond immediately, even if I'm online. I'm not. I promise you I'm not. You're all very important to me, believe me. But my brain doesn't do multithreading well at all. Every time I try, there's thread locks all over the place, segfaults galore, and one very distracted Imperium. So one thing at a time for me.
- Don't approach me with a sense of entitlement like I owe you something. You're not entitled to anything, and I don't owe you anything. A little common courtesy goes a very long way. I'm just leaving this here for the web link to point those people to. 😜
