MicrObey Documentation

MicrObey HUD
The probably not up to date documentation

The most current thoughts, information, and update stuff can be found by following the labels on the Imperium Blog. That's always going to be the best way to get a feel for it, because I rarely do things (especially documentation) in one session.

Here's the full text description for MicrObey itself that tries to explain some various features:

Introducing MicrObey (I affectionately call it MOO), the web-integrated submissive training HUD system. Using hypnotic trances and enhanced conditioning, the perfect training tool for every sub and the dominants who love them. It is (I hope!) an easy to use and enjoy brainwashing system. That said, there's a whole lot to it, and it's a broad set of components that bridge a lot of domains.

- Web-Driven integrated system

Everything's done via the web, so the in-world HUD can be a lot leaner, focused on the subject. Training, broadcasts, subliminals, devotions, speech restrictions, RLV, and more are all managed via the web.

- Extensive configuration, management, training all done via web browser

Configuration for MicrObey and more is handled via the web. The subject can configure almost every facet of the HUD, from colors and opacities to timing and system settings to display names and other configuration to make every trance completely their own.

- Various levels of access in whitelisting, blacklisting, and owners

Via the web, a subject has complete control over who can access their MicrObey HUD, even allowing for blocking pests. There's even a global access option for those who are feeling lucky.

- Complete hypnotic training cycles: inductions, trainings, awakenings

Every session begins with an induction, up to three trainings, an awakening, and themes and spirals to go along with it. Every hypnotic session allows for the subject to define their gender and name, and for the trainer to define their title and name. These can even be overridden to default values that can't be changed. When the session begins, the subject's viewer is blanked out showing only the spiral and themed images that change every few seconds. The text of the session is displayed in the middle of the screen, with subliminal messages popping up at random.

Inductions are intended to ease a subject into a state of mind where they will find it easier to accept their training.

Trainings are the heart of a subject's session. There can be up to three trainings back to back, and they're usually a running theme.

Awakenings are there to bring the subject back to an alert state where they begin to accept their training.

Themes are a random collection of related images displayed along with a spiral. Usually erotic in nature, themes are meant to associate a theme with the training

Spirals don't necessarily have to be a spiral, but can be a meme or other enforcement image.

Training sessions can also include broadcasts and other hooks into other parts of the MicrObey system. There's all kinds of stuff there.

- Animated themes and spirals

While not required, almost everything in MicrObey is animated!

- Broadcasted mantras to keep the subject aware of their place

Once the training's done, broadcasts can be enabled to automatically tell the world at large (or privately remind the subject) of their training. Like sessions, broadcasts are highly configurable via the web.

- Devotions to make the subject repeat mantras to enforce their training

Once a training session's complete, a subject's journey is just beginning. Devotions requires that the subject type in a mantra every so often or they'll be placed back into a training session. This can be very public or very private, according to mood. The session that the subject is placed into should they fail to comply can be completely random, so they never know what's coming.

- Subliminal messaging system in the subject's viewer to enhance their submission even when they're shopping

Subliminal messages are brief messages displayed in the subject's viewing area. They're there and then gone, usually just long enough for the subconscious mind to pick them up, unless you're looking for them. Subliminals are a nice way to enforce training while the subject is doing other things.

- RLV supported (and encouraged!)

RLV is supported and strongly encouraged for MicrObey. There is a fairly comprehensive configuration for restrictions both when in a hypnotic training session and when the subject is not being trained. A lot of internal functionaly also works best when RLV is enabled. A few of the restrictions that can be placed:

* The HUD is locked
* Disable access to name tags (may cause problems with sessions, subliminals, etc)
* Disable access to the world map
* Disable access to the mini map
* Disable access to location information
* Disable access to inventory
* Disable access to viewing textures, notecards, etc
* Disable access to editing functionality
* Disable access to flight
* Disable access to running
* Disable the ability to sit on objects
* Disable the ability to stand up from objects
* Disable the ability to initiate teleports
* Disable the ability to respond to teleports
* Disable the ability to send messages
* Disable the ability to receive messages
* Disable the ability to touch objects far away
* Disable the ability to touch any object in-world
* Disable the ability to interact with any object
* Disable the ability to touch any HUD object
* Disable the ability to touch any attachment

- Speech Restrictions

For everything from just renaming the subject to something more fitting to making the subject moo, MicrObey has several speech restrictions and more planned. Just a few:

* Rename avatar in chat
* Keep avatar silent
* Muffle (gag) avatar
* Moo!

- Gallery View

MicrObey can be used for viewing themes and spirals outside of a session. Sometimes just for the pleasure. Sometimes just for the enforcement and focus. Whatever the reason, configurable and fun.

- Join Training Collectives to strengthen social training

Collectives are social organizations of Imperium MicrObey subjects and trainers. This also enhances the security system, as well. A Collective Owner can assign subjects and trainers within their collective. There'll be a lot more in the future that will work around the collective structure, but for all intents and purposes, they can be thought of as a harem, since we all like that word so much.

- Earn Zen to place on the Imperium Leader Boards

Every action with MicrObey adds (or removes) a subject's zen. Who can get the most zen? There's even ways for sites across the grid to get involved.

- Track Sessions

See what the subject has been brainwashing to. Complete recent history of training sessions.

- Track Movement

See where the subject has been visiting recently.

- All kinds of supplemental content is available in world

Content drives MicrObey, and there's all kinds of it available for purchase in-world at the Imperium store. Content doesn't have to be owned by the subject. A trainer can purchase (or create) their own content, as well. In all of the sub-systems, the subject and owner's content offerings will be made available for use.

- Got your own content? Your own ideas? There's an accompanying Contributor's Pack just for that.

Want to make your own content for MicrObey? You can! There's a Contributor's Pack available that has everything you need to integrate with MicrObey. You keep the right to resell and use how you like. Just want to have your own private offerings for your subjects? Check. Want to sell your own content for MicrObey? Check. All you need is a little SL knowledge to get started.

- Designed to work with the MicrObey Owner HUD

MicrObey is designed to work with the MicrObey Owner HUD, sold separately. The Owner HUD lets you do things like create collectives, see a subject's trance in real time when they're close by, and lots of other nifty.

- Always free updates and redeliveries

Here's one of the cool things about MicrObey. When you update, you don't have to spend a lot of time resetting things, loading content, or whatever. Your setup should move seamlessly to the next version.

For as long as I'm supporting it, updates are free. There's a redelivery terminal at the main store always close by the landing. If you purchased on Marketplace, you can get redelivery straight to the comfort of your own home.

- RLV Force Sit

As further proof that RLV makes things fun and great, especially with MicrObey, there's RLV sit. So want to "ask kindly" (in other words, force!) a subject to have a seat on something within 10 meters? Well, you can. You're welcome.

- RLV Teleport Hubs

Force an RLV subject (and notify a non-RLV subject that you'd like them to teleport) to a MicrObey Teleport Hub. These hubs can be either private or public, so they make for great landmarks, too.

- MacrObey Integration

The line of Imperium MacrObey Hypnosis Training Devices are designed to work with the MicrObey HUD. While they can be used on their own without MicrObey, it's a lot more fun when they're used together, especially for RLV subjects.

- Other stuff

There's little things all over the place in the HUD, in the MicrObey web portal, and elsewhere. Like it can be configured so that a subject can't change their subliminals, devotions, broadcasts, and so on. There's a lot of stuff to explore, and things being used in ways I honestly never dreamed they'd be used. I recommend visiting my blog at https://sl-imperium.blogspot.com/ and search around. I'm terrible at documentation, but my stream of consciousness sometimes shines through. I add and tweak things at random intervals, so always a surprise.
