Training Sessions in MicrObey

The question's been asked: so what does a training session look like in MicrObey? For demo purposes, here's a pretty spiffy guide (as of MicrObey 200411.1).

So you have your HUD on. It looks something like:

OK the HUD is the MicrObey bar up at the top. To the right, there's a power button. For now, click on the MicrObey HUD bar. This is going to want to take you to a web page with a pop up box:

Click on the "Go to page" button. You're going to be taken to your MicrObey Subject Home.

That's a lot of stuff! Look to the left side in the "Train" box. Right at the top is "Hypnotize". Let's click on that. We should see a page like:

Rock on. Let's go over this one by one, for the un-initiated.

Induction & Awakening defines what gets used to "induct" and "awaken" the subject. Usually used to relax and take the subject in to trance and then bring them back from trance. Usually. This is all content available in-world. You can get more.

Trainings. We can do up to 3 trainings here. Trainings are just what they sound like. This is the content used to train a subject. There's a vast array of content available here, from bimbo to sissies and beyond. More's coming all the time.

Subject gender & name. In the induction, awakening, and training scripts, there are placeholders for what to call the subject. I think what I plugged in is pretty damned descriptive enough for an example. :)

Trainer title & name. Ditto here. What to call the person doing the training.

Spiral. I call these spirals, but what they really are in my mind is "training enhancements". A lot of the "spirals" aren't really spirals at all, but animated images with strong enforcement. Again, more of these available in-world at the store.

Themes. Everyone has their favorites. With MicrObey, you can select them all, if you like. You're not restricted to just one theme. Just use your shift key when clicking on what you want.

Now I'm going to mention content here. The content offerings available are for the subject AND for the person starting the training. See my brief explanation of this for more.

OK so we're set. We have our stuff filled out looking good.

Now click on the blue "Start Hypnosis Training Session" button. It's going to ask you if you're sure about this. Once you do, if the subject is online, it will tell you that the training has started. Rock on.

Now what does this look like to the subject? Here's some snapshots from early on in the induction:

Some things going on here. The black side bars, spiral overlay, theme, progress bar, subliminals, training text … These are all customizable from the web. You can change colors, transparency, and other junk. In fact, some of these have been customized in the snapshots. In the center is the training. You'll notice the subliminals around the viewing area. As the training progresses, the subliminals progresses, as well, building into something of a continuing story. The green power button at top can be touched at any time to end the trance, but you suffer a zen penalty for doing so.

There's a lot of other crap to explore here, but I wanted to show primarily the process for doing a training session. But some parting thoughts:

- Your settings always persists across MicrObey updates.
- Your content is always available across MicrObey updates.
